The Reflections committee holds the Reflections contest.  The Reflections contest is a national PTA art competition that encourages students from all grades and abilities to explore and be involved in the arts. Students create original works of art in the categories of Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography and Visual Arts.   PTSA parents and leaders volunteer their time to work with Utah PTSA and learn about the Reflections program and then host it at Skyline.

They inform students of the theme, distribute rules and entry forms, collect and judge art and recognize students for their efforts.

2025 Reflections Details

Due Date: Wednesday, October 15th

Skyline Eagles, this is a chance to explore the arts and express yourselves using this year’s theme, “I Belong!” Create a reflection of this theme in one or more of the following categories: 2-D Visual Art, 3-D Visual Art, Photography, Literature, Dance, Film, and Music Composition.

Remember, this competition is heavily judged on your interpretation of the THEME — so make sure your entry relates to the theme. You may enter more than one category, but you may only submit one entry per category. Please submit all entries online at utahpta.org/ref by Wednesday, October 15th. All students who enter will be rewarded! Those entries that move on to the next level will receive ADDITIONAL PRIZES! Get hyped and get busy creating!
